Gone were the days of providing a number of identifying inputs through phone-banking or standing in a queue before the bank\u2019s on-premise helpdesk to get simple information about the bank\u2019s products etc. Nisha Chandra, an avid user of the entertainment site Gaana, swears by its efficient chat system to find just the right tune for her streaming with perfect timing. There are many other examples of companies and people interacting through this latest smart technology, namely a Chatbot.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>What are chatbots?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>A Chatbot is a small piece of software program designed to interact with human beings through text or voice interfaces. They are also known as conversational agents and can be found on various websites, apps or voice-over services offered by different brands for multiple purposes.<\/p>\n<p>Chatbots can be programmed to help the customers on the basis of a few specific keyword-driven responses from their posted queries.
